Oncology Support

Oncology: Cancer affects people either from experience with the disease or that of family, friends and acquaintances. Rarely a week passes without some new announcement of a new drug or treatment to fight this disease. Surgery, chemotherapy and radiation in conjunction with various drugs are the accepted mode of treatment.

Of necessity these powerful treatments unavoidably hurt healthy cells as they seek to
destroy cancer cells. To win the fight against cancer it is essential to energize our natural body immune defense to aid the accepted forms of cancer treatment. Our objectives are to lessen the side effects of other therapies and to restore and stimulate the body’s natural defense against cancer.

We use natural approaches as a component in the overall cancer treatment. These  approaches can stimulate the defense forces and improve the micro-environment. The following approaches are often used in our office:

·     Acupuncture & electro-acupuncture

·     Auricular acupuncture & acupressure

·     Cupping therapy

·     Chinese herbs and nutrition

Generally, our treatment can significantly lessen the side effects of other therapies, quicken the recovery and enhance the quality of life. We have helped many cancer patients with complaints of nausea, diarrhea, edema, hair-loss, weakness, cancer-pain and depression arising from chemotherapy and radiation therapy

Facial Rejuvenation

What is Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation?

Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, sometimes referred to as Acupuncture Facelift or Cosmetic Acupuncture, is a non-surgical, painless and effective way of reducing the
signs of aging. We insert very thin needles into particular points of the face and body to manipulate the energy (qi) and blood (xue) flow according to an individual
condition. We combine sophisticated acupuncture techniques, Chinese facial massage and herbal formulas to achieve optimal results.

How does it work?

Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation improves muscle tone, increases blood flow and stimulates the production of collagen and cellular metabolism. It may erase years
from the face, eliminate fine lines and diminish deeper wrinkles. The results are firmer skin, less sagging and puffiness, as well as a more natural lifting effect.
Because we treat the whole body so these treatments improve circulation of the face and body, bringing nutrients to the skin and removing metabolic toxins. Our
patients may feel relaxed, energized and have an increased sense of well-being.

Other results may include moisturizing of the skin with increasing the circulation of lymph and blood to the face, tightening of the pores; brightening of the eyes;
improving of hormonal balance; reduction of stress evident in the face and bringing out your innate beauty.

What is the course of treatment?

Generally the course consists of 12 treatments. Each treatment lasts about one hour and should initially take place twice a week for 3 weeks.  Additional courses of
treatment may be desirable depending on your skin condition. Results may be prolonged by receiving a maintenance treatment once a month or once every three
months. Each person responds differently, depending on his or her condition and lifestyle prior to treatment.

Facial massage and acupressure

Facial Massage and Acupressure are highly recommended for augmenting and reinforcing Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatments. Facial Massage and
Acupressure greatly improve the local circulation of blood, lymph and qi while flushing out toxins and improving muscle tone and dermal contraction. The result of
Facial Massage and Acupressure will not be nearly as profound as when it is in conjunction with Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.

together with Chinese Herbs for a more complete system of medicine as these modalities are known mutually benefit each other and has always been used for the
purpose of longevity and beauty.
